You currently have an account with Workcompcentral for your WCAB data and EAMS form filing needs. Workcompcentral has chosen to discontinue these services, and worked with our company to transition you to our EdexOne platform. This letter highlights some of the key services we will provide to you after you open your EDEXIS account below. First, you may have a pre-paid deposit with Workcompcentral as credit on your account for future EDEX and EAMS transactions. Have no fear, your Workcompcentral credit balance is still available. When you open your new EDEXIS account we will transfer your existing credit balance from Workcompcentral. As part of your transition, your Workcompcentral credits may be used for our EAMS form filing and EDEX search and track transactions, and your account fees are waived until January, 2023. EDEX Information Systems has been the leader in electronic data exchange systems since 1995. We have a long history of working with the California Division of Workers’ Compensation and its management. Our team of professional and knowledgeable account managers are always happy to answer your questions, provide initial and ongoing training, or discuss custom forms or features you may desire. Our EDEX Mailing service integrates seamlessly with our EDEX Filing service. Our EDEX Filing service handles your EAMS form filing needs. Structured and unstructured forms are available, as well as custom forms we create just for you based on a variety of document templates. When submitting electronic form filing orders, you may choose to have our EDEX Mailing service handle the tedious task of printing and serving the case parties automatically, or you may elect to print and mail the forms yourself (Hint - Have us mail your documents and see how simple it is!). Our EDEX Tracking service handles your discovery needs with WCAB EDEX court searches and case tracking. Search and track injured workers by Social Security or EAMS reference number, or access case data directly by ADJ number. Easily track and monitor WCAB cases for future activity, including hearing notices, significant events, and case party address record updates. On a personal note, Workcompcentral founder David DePaolo was a long-time friend (and fellow dog lover). He and I both designed and founded our companies in the 1990’s, and our company provided EDEX services to his initial customers. David helped me incorporate my company, and occasionaly provided us with pro-bono legal guidance. Years later, he and I jointly co-founded another startup called DWC Direct, where our EDEX Filing and EDEX Mailing services all began.
