Welcome to the Tech Company in Californias Gold Country We’re proud to live and work in a historic 1849 Gold Rush county. Launched in 1995, our core business services were born in Jackson, California and have continued to grow here for nearly three decades. We love it when our customers call us from busy cities like Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas, or New York and think we’re in the Silicon Valley. When they find out we’re not, they often pause to ask us, “Where in the heck is Jackson?”.
On the technology side, our corporate data centers have been virtualized over the last ten years, allowing us to rapidly expand our data storage and processing. We engineered our services to run entirely within the Amazon AWS platform, which allows us nearly unlimited future growth and scalable deployment of services to meet the ever-changing needs of our customers and the government agencies we work with. When the Covid-19 pandemic hit the world in 2020, our ability to pivot as a company was truly tested. Fortunately, our Amazon AWS platform, paired with a variety of other technology systems we utilize, allowed our staff to begin working remotely. In fact, on March 19, 2020 our entire team of employees were in the office together, and the following day everyone was working remotely from home - and not one customer even noticed the transition. We continue to offer both remote- work and hybrid-work options for most employees today, so there’s a fair chance the EDEXIS employee you speak with on the phone might be in their jammies while talking with you. Zoom calls? Well, that’s a different story.

Jackson is located in the beautiful wine country of historic Amador County, an 1849-era gold rush tourist mecca two-hours east of San Francisco in the rolling foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains. Lake Tahoe is just a quick drive up Highway 88. Here, a traffic jam might be ten cars at the stoplight on Main Street, or a flock of turkeys crossing the road (or the occasional cow that wanders off its farm). Life is quieter here, more peaceful. Especially if you’re fond of great wines and outdoor adventures. Perhaps that’s why our customers love our support staff so much? Unlike busy call centers in big cities (or other countries), our team of talented superheros and our furry, four-legged friends take time to talk with our customers, listen to their needs, answer questions, and help solve problems users have when filing forms, searching for data, tracking cases, or mailing documents. Our customer support is one of the primary keys that set us apart from other vendors in our industry. Of course, our location means very little unless our staff has the knowledge to help our users. We shine there, too. Our first five employees have been with us for more than 20 years each, so our institutional knowledge acquired over the years helps us design and develop new services and answer those tough support questions no one else knows.
